About
Serving
East Texas
Through a flexible rent-to-own program, we make it easy for residents to own their own home and thereby become long-term, stable residents in our communities.
Our rent-to-own program provides the opportunity for home ownership with the flexibility of renting. No long-term promissory notes. Renters have the option to purchase the mobile home at any time with no pre-payment penalty.
We have also provided land/home packages in Harrison, Marion, and Wood counties where the rent-to-own programs also allow the resident to acquire the land on which their mobile home is located.
We are ready, willing, and able to provide consultation and creative solutions to any problem you may have with mobile home titles or the management of mobile home communities.
Family-owned, specializing in mobile home communities and tiny house/RV communities.
Lakeside MHC, located in
White Oak, Texas
MDunn Properties, LLC, was founded by Michael Dunn in 2003 to manage the rehabilitation of Lakeside MHC. Lakeside MHC then had many empty lots and many old, straight-rental units that were in poor condition.
Through an aggressive rehabilitation program, old rental units were removed and replaced with clean, late-model rent-to-own homes. Empty lots were likewise filled, resulting in a fully-occupied 59-unit community.

Skylark, Big Woods, LoneStar, & Ridgewood Terrace
Skylark MHC, a 16-unit community in west Longview, was acquired in 2007 and rehabilitated in a similar fashion.
Big Woods MHC Phase I began in 2012, followed by Phase Il in 2013 - resulting in a 16-unit community offering flexible "country living" in northern Gregg County. This community is set apart from the others by the direct road access and separate addresses it offers to each unit.
LoneStar MHC, acquired in 2015, was similarly upgraded to provide east Longview with a 34-unit community.
Ridgewood Terrace is a unique Tiny House/RV community with Phase I opened in 2018 with 10 cabins. Phase II was completed in late 2024 with 39 more cabins, 8 RV lots in a separate section, and the last 11 lots available to reserve for those who wish to bring in their own cabin.
